If your child experiences disabilities, and wants to try out some adaptive bicycling in a safe and fun environment, you should know about the upcoming Adaptive Cycling component of the June 24th Sunday Parkways.
UCP Oregon will be staffing an information booth at the event, and we’re hoping to see lots of UCP families there!
WHEN: June 24th, from 11 am – 4pm.
WHERE: Harper’s Playground at Arbor Lodge Park, 2525 N Dekum Street, Portland.
WHAT: An opportunity to try several types of adaptive bicycle devices, perfect for kids who experience disabilities. Families can gather together, try out the adaptive bicycles, meet and share with other parents, and be a part of the Sunday Parkways spirit, while still having their own space to ride. Please bring a helmet.
