​At UCP Oregon, we are dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to live life to the fullest. We've been changing lives in the Portland area since 1955.

​By joining our board, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization and the lives of those we serve.

​Here are a few reasons why you should consider becoming a part of our board:
  1. Impact Lives Directly: As a board member, you will have the opportunity to influence decisions that directly affect the services and supports that UCP provides. Your contributions will help UCP create a tangible difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families.
  2. Utilize and Enhance Your Skills: Whether your background is in finance, marketing, law, healthcare, fundraising or community advocacy, your unique perspective will be invaluable. Serving on the UCP board is also an excellent way to enhance your leadership and strategic thinking abilities.

LEARN MORE ABOUT UCP OREGON

UCP Oregon has been changing lives for adults and children who experience developmental/intellectual disabilities since 1955.

​We believe that everyone has the right to independence, inclusion, and advocacy.


ADULT SERVICES

  • Currently, we provide direct support to nearly 1000 adults in the Portland area, assisting them to live independently in their own homes, find and keep employment, and connect to community resources.

CHILDREN'S SERVICES

  • We provide relief staffing, skills training, and fun activities for children who experience any  developmental/intellectual disability.

FAMILY SERVICES

  • ​In honor of our roots, we support over 800 families in Oregon who are raising children diagnosed with cerebral palsy or a closely-related disability. We provide information and referral, support groups, fun outings, and a sense of connection and hope.
