FAMILY SUPOPORT WORKSHOPS

UCP’s Family Support workshops are a great chance to learn and connect. Most of the trainings are held via Zoom, which is an easy-to-use online platform.

​To fund the training program, we are asking for donations on a sliding scale of $5–10 per training. If you can donate more, it is always appreciated. If not, we still want you to take the training; no one will be turned away.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

​Dr. Natalie Andzik is an Associate Professor of Special Education at Northern Illinois University and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with complex communication needs.

Her research and practice focus on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), particularly helping families and educators integrate AAC into
everyday routines.

​Natalie has worked directly with children, parents, and school teams, and regularly leads trainings and publishes on evidence-based communication strategies.

Whether you're new to AAC or looking for ways to keep it going during the summer, Dr. Andzik brings practical guidance rooted in research and real-life supportive experience.
