UCP Oregon has been changing lives for adults and children who experience developmental/intellectual disabilities since 1955.
We believe that everyone has the right to independence, inclusion, and advocacy.
We started out supporting children who experienced cerebral palsy, but now we support adults and children who experience any developmental/intellectual disability.
Adult Services
Currently, we provide direct support to nearly 1000 adults in the Portland area, assisting them to live independently in their own homes, find and keep employment, and connect to community resources.
Children's Services
We provide relief staffing, skills training, and fun activities for children who experience any developmental/intellectual disability.
Family Services
In honor of our roots, we support over 800 families in Oregon who are raising children diagnosed with cerebral palsy or a closely-related disability. We provide information and referral, support groups, fun outings, and a sense of connection and hope.
