UCP Oregon has been changing lives for adults and children who experience developmental/intellectual disabilities since 1955.
We believe that everyone has the right to independence, inclusion, and advocacy.
We started out supporting children who experienced cerebral palsy, but now we support adults and children who experience any developmental/intellectual disability.
Adult Services
Currently, we provide direct support to nearly 1000 adults in the Portland area, assisting them to live independently in their own homes, find and keep employment, and connect to community resources.
Family Services
In honor of our roots, we support hundreds of families in Oregon and SW Washington who are raising children diagnosed with cerebral palsy or other intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide information and resources, parent support groups, respite opportunities, funding for adaptive equipment and assistive technology, and other connection and community building opportunities.
