Today is Susan Cushman's last day as UCP Oregon's Family Support Director. She's been in the job since 2006, and is retiring to spend more time in her art studio. Over the years, Susan has been an immensely positive force in the world of UCP--especially for the families and children we support. She is an artist, an activist, a mother, a wife, a daughter, and strong community member. As Ann Coffey, UCP's Executive Director says, Susan approached the Family Support Director position with an open heart, a helping hand, and a creative way of expressing compassion and authenticity. Are you looking for a management level job, working with children? We're seeking a Children’s Services Manager to oversee UCP's Building Blocks program, which offers one-on-one supports and skills training for youth between the ages of 1 to 18 who experience disabilities.
You'll supervise a team of Children's Support Professionals, who provide in-home supports (personal care and other activities of daily living). Your staff also assist children to gain new skills and pursue all sorts of fun, community-based activities, such as taking classes, exploring the city, and increasing physical activity. |
