We're sad to announce that the 2020 Walk, Roll 'n' Run (WRR) is cancelled.
In a normal year, the WRR is UCP's biggest event. It raises crucial funds for our Family Support Department, allowing us to provide vital supports for families raising kids with cerebral palsy. But... it's not a normal year. It's 2020. And that means we need your help more than ever! That's why we're asking you to donate in your usual WRR amount. Or even consider donating more!
Hi, I’m Jan. My older brother, Jerry Pattee, was born with cerebral palsy. With the right supports, Jerry was able to live a wonderful and full life. He worked for various telephone companies; he married and raised two children; he bought his own home. My brother also spent the majority of his life participating in disability committees and non-profit boards (like UCP's) to build a better future for others living with disabilities.
We're excited to announce that registration is open for this year's Walk, Roll 'n' Run! We're pulling out all of the stops because it's our 15th anniversary!
NEW FOR 2019:
All proceeds support UCP Oregon and our services for kids and adults who experience developmental and intellectual disabilities.
UCP Oregon is pleased to announce that Marie Blanchard will be the Ambassador for the 2018 Walk, Roll 'n' Run (WRR). Marie experiences cerebral palsy, and has been an important part of the WRR since the very first event (in 2005), when she was the main organizer and captain of a WRR team. She was 13 that year and did all the organizing herself. She's been a team captain ever since. Each year, she reaches out to everyone she knows, requesting that they join her team or sponsor her for the event. She loves UCP and raises funds for UCP all year long, not just during the WRR. She’s raised more than $45,000 since 2005! Marie will receive her honors from at our upcoming UCP Friends Breakfast on Tuesday, May 15th. |
