About the Keynote SpeakerThis year's keynote speaker is Tyler Jones, the father of Liam who has spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy. Tyler and his wife RaeLyn are fierce advocates for their son. At the beginning of every school year, Tyler makes a presentation in Liam’s class which is creative, informative, and helps his son be an included member of his classroom.
Tyler is a writer whose short story "F For Fake" was selected by Chuck Palahniuk (author of Fight Club) to be published in the anthology Burnt Tongues. The film rights to "F For Fake" sold to a Sundance award winning producer; Tyler is writing the screenplay and is also working on a full-length book for parents of children with disabilities. Tyler's interviews on disability advocacy have been featured in The Oregonian and on OPB. Comments are closed.
