"FOR DADS ONLY": CABIN WEEKEND
a special event for THE DADS OF ucp's family support department
We are excited to announce that UCP Oregon’s Family Support Department is hosting its first “For Dads Only” Cabin Weekend!
This is a chance for UCP dads to connect with other UCP dads, and have a weekend away to relax and regroup. You’ll be able to have conversations with other dads who “get it.”
You’ll be staying two night at the beautiful L.L. Stub Stewart State Park. The park is 34 miles west of Portland, and features hiking trails, two disc golf courses, mountain bike trails, and more.
UCP has been gifted two nights of stays in five different cabins. There could be room for up to fifteen UCP dads to stay the night!

- The nights of 8/18 and 8/19.
- Check in on 8/18 starts after 4pm. Check out is by 1pm on 8/20.

- L.L. Stub Stewart State Park, Buxton, OR 97109.
Cabin Info:
- We will be occupying five cabins (Cabin Sites 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15). The cabins feature walls, electricity and heat.
- Depending on the requested sleeping arrangements, we’ll have room for up 15 dads in total. We have been gifted 5 cabins to use, and each cabin can hold up to 3 people. Dads can choose their own roommates, or they can choose to have a cabin to themselves, but this will limit the number of people who can be accommodated.
- UCP will supply some non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. Campers will provide their own meals.
