MORE WAYS TO SUPPORT UCP OREGON

Donate Stock

Your gift of stock will make an impact for children and adults with disabilities and can help you save on your taxes. Please contact us at 503-777-4166 or via email before making a transfer, so we can help ensure that the process is straightforward.

Memorial/Tribute Gifts

Honor or remember someone you love by making a gift to UCP Oregon in their name. Tribute gifts are a perfect way to acknowledge a birthday or special occasion. UCP Oregon will gladly send a note to loved ones or your honoree letting them know of your special gift.

Matching Gifts

Did you know that many employers sponsor matching gift programs, and will often double (or even triple!) charitable donations made by their employees? Talk to your Human Resource department to learn if your donation to UCP Oregoncan be matched. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need assistance with your matching forms or are unsure if your company matches. Please note that UCP Oregon’s Federal Tax ID is 93-0462580.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)

A QCD is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA custodian, payable to UCP Oregon. QCDs can be counted toward satisfying your required minimum distributions (RMDs) for the year, as long as certain rules are met.

In addition to the benefits of giving to UCP Oregon, a QCD excludes the amount donated from taxable income, which is unlike regular withdrawals from an IRA. Keeping your taxable income lower may reduce the impact to certain tax credits and deductions, including Social Security and Medicare.

Vehicle Donations

Thank you for considering a donation of your vehicle. We accept cars, trucks, vans, boats, RVs, motorcycles, and all-terrain vehicles. All proceeds of your donated vehicle provides support for the people served in our community with disabilities and their families.

Start by completing the UCP Oregon Vehicle Donation Form. Download form here.
