Dear UCP Oregon Community,
UCP Oregon supports thousands of individuals and families experiencing disabilities across Oregon—people who rely on us for connection, stability, and support every day.
What many people don’t know is that a large number of the people we serve also rely on SNAP benefits (the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, often called “food stamps” or “Oregon Trail cards”) to help them afford groceries each month.
Starting November 1st, SNAP benefits have been suspended due to the federal government shutdown, leaving many of our customers without their primary source of nutrition.
We’re taking unprecedented steps to ensure that our community has enough to eat. That’s why we launched the new UCP Oregon Food Access Fund—a direct way for our community to come together and help fill the gap.
Your donation will help UCP provide grocery gift cards, connect customers and families with verified food resources, and make sure no one in our community goes hungry.
Every dollar makes a difference:
- $25 provides a grocery gift card for a person in need.
- $50 helps fill a grocery bag or make a food box.
- $100 supports maximizing UCP's buying power with our community partners.
Thanks for helping us fill the table.
With gratitude,
UCP OREGON'S CUSTOMERS AND LEADERSHIP TEAM
